A restoration project emerges from the undergrowth.
The van as found and has been purchased by a J van owner to safe guard its future, J.B. is looking to sell it on to an enthusiast who will restore this early 1951 van. It's a great restoration project.
There could be replacement sides and roof from a donor van, flat packed many years ago to help with the restoration.
The engine is there, the radiator has been ripped out but the front panel survives, wheels are missing but with the very active J van clan out in Oz, the missing items should not be a problem to obtain. Check out J.B's blog for further details.

A Sunicrust bread van has recently changed hands.
This Van has recently been sold in Australia located about 200 km West of Melbourne.
It was a Baker's bread delivery van for all its life, and when the driver retired, his boss said "The van is old and to be retired - take it home as a present, and thankyou for your good work".
The Van sat on his property under pine trees for many years. The owner restored "Skoda cars" and never got round to restoring the van. I understand he died recently, and all his estate was sold. I saw the van about 8 years ago, and the body was getting very thin at that time after years of exposure to "Acid rain" from the pine trees.
Many thanks J.B. who is our man in Oz for this story.

Clutch Master cylinder.
Going to replace your clutch master cylinder on your JB? Did you know its different to the brake master cylinder? It looks the same but it does not have a one way valve in it.
Did you know you can also use a Morris Minor brake master cylinder? Whats the difference ? Apart from £60 its the bore size, 7/8 verses 13/16, yes a whole 16th of an inch. This might get you out of trouble till you can get the correct unit.
The upper master cylinder in the picture is a Morris Minor type (note the missing spring plate washer) its down the back of the work bench somewhere. On the left hand end of the large spring is the one way rubber cup valve which needs to be removed if this master cylinder is used as a clutch master cylinder.
Lower unit is the original JB type showing the layout of parts.
