A J van comes out of hiding after 20+ years storage.

Converted to a SU carburettor, from the different manifold, air cleaner, breather pipe and engine lifting hooks, one would think its had an up grade at some time.
Needs a fair amount of body work, far worse examples have been saved.

We are told it attended a couple of J type rallies in the mid 1980's then disappeared, thought to have been scrapped, its nice to know its been hiding all this time.

Australian van now sold.

The Australian van that was for sale and mentioned on this blog a few days ago has already been sold, money exchanged and has been collected.
It will shortly be on its way back to the UK.
The van was a June 1957 production and was exported to New Zealand, it only recently moved islands to Australia and now its coming back to this island. A much travelled van.
