The penny has dropped.

The rear doors on e-bay have generated many e-mails, it took a phone call to wake me up as to where the doors came from. (Thanks H.)
Do you remember this ex GPO planners van that was sold on e-bay recently? I had forgotten about it as I had heard it was going to join the fleet of other vans that have been converted into ice cream/burgers/fish & chip vehicles, plying there trade on the south bank of the Thames in London.
A couple of the vehicles that they have converted have been well done and a great improvement to what they had become, its a great shame one other van they purchased was such a rare mini-bus with all its original fittings, ended up being converted.
Note the holes in the body work where the GPO lamps were mounted due to the rubber wings.

The pile of GPO planners van spares, note the curved partition section.
It could be good news if some of the parts they remove when the vans are converted (80% of the body work is removed and not used) are offered for sale, there are still many project vans out there in urgent need of doors, Door pockets, roof sections etc.
